Anomalous diffusion controlled reaction

Rate of reaction between groups attached to polymers is governed by the first-passage process of reactants towards each other. We study dependence of reaction rate on anomalous diffusion for polymers of different sizes in solvents of various qualities.

Kinetics of self-healing

Self-healing of polymeric materials could be either due to formation of entanglements or reversible bonds across the crack interface. We investigate the kinetics of self-healing mechanism and study the dependence of healing rate at different time scales.
